Motability is a registered charity and non-profit making organisation that enables people with disabilities to exchange their mobility allowance for a brand new car, resulting in greater freedom and access to vehicles at low and easily manageable prices.
The scheme, established in 1978, has helped over 2 million people get mobile with a brand new car and is available to anyone receiving a Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance (HRMC of DLA) or War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
Under the scheme eligible customers can visit Derek Loane Nissan and choose from one of the participating Nissan models and receive a 60,000 mileage allowance, servicing and maintenance, annual car tax and can enjoy the freedom of a new car every three years.
What’s more, the Sydney Street dealership provides a full range of specially designed adaptations ensuring that Nissan can offer customers full service and support whatever their individual needs.
Derek Loane, Dealer Principal at Derek Loane Nissan, said: “We are proud to be part of the Motability scheme and provide this fantastic service to help improve the quality of life for thousands of people with mobility concerns.
Derek Loane Nissan’s Motability scheme includes the new Nissan Micra along with models Note, QASHQAI and Juke
